Chulu West & the Annapurna

After exploring the sites, sounds, smells, and tastes of Nepal's bustling capital, Kathmandu, you will then explore what makes Nepal a Mecca for trekkers and climbers from around the world - the Himalayas. Chulu West is situated in the Manang Himal of the Annapurna Range in western Nepal. It is surrounded by Himalayan giants such as Annapurna 1 (8091m- the first 8000 metre mountain to be climbed); Dhaulagiri (8167m) and Manaslu (8163m).

You will pass through many villages and gain a real sense of life in rural Nepal.

We encourage you to talk with the locals as you pass through their village as doing so only enhances an already magical experience and deepens your appreciation of the culture and friendliness of the Nepalese.  The Annapurna Range is widely regarded as one of the most spectacular mountain ranges on earth, and you will be taken to its heart in this life changing experience.

This expedition is open to people who simply want to trek and enjoy the environment of a mountaineering expedition.
